Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for an Accounting Support Specialist to join our organization! Under general supervision, the Accounting specialist will identify, reconcile, and post customer and miscellaneous payments to open accounts receivable from daily cash receipt deposits generated daily by automated cash processor and balance to daily bank deposit. They will research cash transactions as needed and keep up with all reimbursement terms/conditions, billing procedures and tax regulations. In this role, the incumbent is expected to have training opportunities across the finance department. Possess strong computer, systems, and ERP experience to assist in the company’s transition to Oracle. In addition, provide support for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and the Finance Department by both learning about the different processes, creating SOPs where needed, and identifying solutions for streamlining and/or automating existing processes where possible in accordance with Oracle. 

Essential Job Functions
1.    Post cash deposit, credit card, eft and wire transfer funds to open accounts receivable for both US and Canada
2.    Resolve daily rejected items from automated cash processor
3.    Resolve and auto-bill rejected items daily
4.    Reconcile daily cash reports from in-house system to daily bank transaction details
5.    Manually process credit card transactions
6.    Support accounting dept. with month-end closing as needed
7.    Support other finance functions as needed (i.e. Fixed Asset reporting, Sales Tax)
8.    Review current processes and assist in the documentation and updating of outdated SOPs 
9.    Identify solutions for streamlining and/or automating existing processes
10.    Learn new ERP system and champion process improvements in accordance with new system

Requirements
•    Require at least two years’ experience in cash application in an automated environment and preferably credit and collections experience along. 
•    Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
•    Proficiency and strong interest in excel and other computer programs
•    Experience with Oracle, SAP, or any other modern ERP system 
•    Organized
