Job Summary
Plan, direct and control activities of all warehouse functions to accomplish Nissha Medical Technologies mission and strategic plan. Supervises the warehouse staff ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and shipped in a timely manner and according to standard operating procedures. Achieve logistics objectives for quality, productivity and service through appropriate incremental process improvements. Understand and adhere to the ISO 9001 Quality Procedure as it applies to the area managed. Identify where training is needed to develop the people in areas of responsibility and line up the necessary resources to ensure that training is completed on a timely basis.

Essential Job Functions
1.    Participate in development and communication of Company's mission, strategic plans and budgets.
2.    Execute operations to ensure daily shipment objectives are achieved.
3.    Provide role-model leadership in driving change to achieve continuous improvement through Lean best practices in Warehousing, Material Flow and Logistics.
4.    Oversees daily floor activities to ensure shipments are processed according to business guidelines and standard operating procedures.
5.    Supervise the inbound operation from receiving to storage of raw material.
6.    Ensures products are delivered to the manufacturing floor accurately and in a timely manner.
7.    Lead and/or be involved on continuous improvement activities.
8.    Recommend and initiate cost reduction programs centered around capital improvements where ROI and pay back criteria are favorable.
9.    Support inventory accuracy activities to achieve annual targets.
10.    Liaison between manufacturing, logistics and customer service as needed.
11.    Serve as a point of escalation for Transportation issues.
12.    Provide leadership, coaching, performance management development, training and issue resolution to associates.
13.    Support the establishment and maintenance of performance metrics.
14.    Through Leader-Standard Work monitor performance and effectiveness of operations.
15.    Execution of training requirements.
16.    Evaluate and ensure working instructions and standard operating procedures are up to date.
17.    Ensure training and quality policies are being followed properly.
18.    Lead the process of selecting and hiring new talent.
19.    Take ownership of safety initiatives including incident investigations and reporting within the required timeframe.
20.    Include safety considerations in monthly department meetings to raise awareness of people to perform their tasks in a consistently safe manner.  Make sure that all safety rules are followed, accompanied by good housekeeping.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or related field or equivalent professional leadership experience in an operations environment with a HS Diploma/GED.
  • Must have at least 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a 1st-line Supervision or Management capacity.
  • Experienced in GMP, MRP, Kaizan, TQM and ISO 9001 policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Team-oriented management style with demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills
  • Good planning and problem-solving skills with proven track record in achieving results through or with other team members
  • Capable of communicating and working with people at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and establish goals, metrics, data and plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrated innovation, creativity and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of lean material concepts and application in warehousing and logistics.
  • Knowledge ORACLE transactions and navigation is a plus. 
  • Familiar with WMS operation is a plus.
  • At least intermediate level knowledge of MS-Office Capabilities (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
